Turkey: A total of 62 ISIS-linked terror suspects were arrested across Turkey, Turkish security sources said on Friday, reported Anadolu Agency.
Turkish Police arrested 52 ISIS suspects in the capital Ankara, said a police source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
The counter-terrorism forces continued operations to arrest 12 more suspects as part of the investigation against the terror group, prosecutors said.
Separately, Turkish security forces arrested 10 suspects in the country’s northern Samsun province on the Black Sea coast, another source said.
All suspects are believed to be Iraqi nationals.
More than 300 people have lost their lives in ISIS-claimed attacks in Turkey, where the terror group has targeted civilians in suicide bombing, rocket, and gun attacks.
