Somalia: Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed alias Mohammed Baby, a Somali-British jihadist who fled from London in 2013 has been reportedly killed in Somalia by an al-Shabaab firing squad along with four other men, all of whom have been accused of spying for US, UK and Somalian intelligence. The execution was carried out by al-Shabaab in Jilib town.
The four other men have been identified as:
1-Abdi Aziz Abdi Salam
2-Mohamed Abdullahi Awil
3-Jeylani Abdullahi Nur
4-Abdi Kadir Amin
35 year old Somali national Mohamed Abdullahi Awil was ‘convicted’ by al-Shabaab for spying for NSA and CIA. The militant group says he was behind the US special forces night raid on al-Shabaab controlled town in Sakow on 12th June 2017.
