Ethiopia: Prosecutors in Ethiopia have charged five suspects with terrorism over an attempt to kill Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in a grenade attack at a rally in June 2018. The attack in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa killed two people and injured more than 100, but PM Abiy remained unharmed. The bomb was thrown on 23rd June amid tens of thousands of people attending a political rally in support of PM Abiy in Addis Ababa’s Meskel Square.
