Pakistan: Pakistani Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul said Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi saved his country from terrorism and extremism.
In an interview with MENA on the fringe of the World Youth Forum, Gul said Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan played the same role of Sisi in heeding national interests.
The Pakistani minister also invited Sisi to visit Pakistan on behalf of Pakistani PM. She met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and handed him a message from Pakistani Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi.
She urged bolstering cooperation between Egypt and Pakistan in various domains, especially in the fields of climate change, security, terrorism, tourism, food security and technology.
Pakistani minister Zartaj Gul recently made headlines in Pakistan when she defeated male political heavyweights in the conservative country in last election.
