Pakistan: A man belonging to the Shi’ite community was shot in the head in an apparent assassination attempt at Isphani Road in Quetta on Wednesday. The victim was immediately shifted to the hospital and is now said to be out of danger.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack but unnamed sources in the local Shi’ite community blame banned group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and its affiliate Sipah-e-Sahaba for the attack.
