Three Pakistani security personnel dead in attack in Balochistan, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claim responsibility

Balochistan: On 18th September, in Qila Saifullah of Balochistan province, unknown gunmen targeted Pakistani security personnel belonging to Levies forces, which killed two soldiers on the spot while a third was injured. According to last reports, the injured soldier also passed away while being shifted to the hospital.

The attack was later claimed by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in a claim released on TTP’s official network Umar Media.

In its claim, TTP said that it assassinated three Levies soldiers while they were on patrol in the Qila Saifullah area. TTP also claimed to have captured a G-3 rifle belonging to one of the soldiers. Additionally, TTP also released the photo of the gun along with its claim for the attack.

This is second TTP attack in the Qila Saifullah area of Balochistan in three days. Two days ago, on Sunday 16th September, TTP assassinated a Major in the Levies forces.

According to other reports in Pakistan media, locals in Qila Saifullah area have been protesting against the increase in terrorist attacks since last two days.
